Weber Fire continues to burn in the Four Corners
The Weber fire near Mancos, Colo. has forced more than hundred people
out of their homes in the Four Corners area..
The fire started on Friday just west of Mancos Hill and south of U.S.
160 and has already burned more than 7,000 acres.
Crews worked hard overnight to hold the fire back from the east canyon
side of the mountain where 28 homes were threatened.
A lot of progress was made last night and they actually brought the
fire down” .
No homes have been damaged. The evacuation center has been moved to
Cortez High School.
Four-hundred residents are under pre-evacuation orders.
The fire was human caused.
