Six Kids Killed In July 4th Swimming Outings

(Marshalltown, IA)  –  Six children are dead in 4th of July swimming
outings turned tragic.  In Iowa, a family is mourning the loss of
three children who drowned in the Iowa River yesterday.  Authorities
say the two girls and one boy were between the ages of six and ten.
The siblings were swimming together late yesterday afternoon when they
disappeared in the river in Marshalltown.  In Missouri, a 13-year-old
girl and her eight-year-old brother were killed after being shocked by
an unknown electrical source while swimming in the Lake of the Ozarks.
A Tennessee boy was killed and another was critically injured when
they suffered an electric shock while swimming near a marina in
Cherokee Lake.
