Vice President Biden To Deliver NAACP Keynote Speech

(Houston, TX)  –   Vice President Joe Biden is the keynote speaker at the NAACP convention in Houston today, President Barack Obama will not be attending.  Chairwoman Roslyn Brock says, “The vice president is a longtime friend to the NAACP.”  Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney got a mixed reception when he spoke to the nation’s oldest civil rights organization yesterday.  President Obama’s re-election campaign says he’ll miss the event because of a “scheduling conflict.”
